
Pear Sorbet

The result is a light and refreshing sorbet that’s perfect for serving on its own or as a complement to a richer dessert.
Ingredients:
- Three 16-ounce cans of pears packed in heavy syrup, drained (discard liquid)
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons simple syrup
- 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Purée the pears:
Place the drained pears in a food processor and blend until smooth. - Mix:
Stir in the simple syrup and lemon juice. Taste and adjust the sweetness or acidity if needed. - Freeze:
