This simple one-pan salmon dish is an easy way to eat well without overcomplicating dinner. Fresh dill, lemon, and garlic bring out the natural flavor of the salmon, and the Whynter combi oven keeps everything tender. It’s a solid weeknight meal that helps you stay on track.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1 cup asparagus or broccoli florets
Instructions
- Fill the water tank in the oven with filtered or distilled water before use.
- On a lined sheet pan, place the salmon fillets. Drizzle with olive oil, rub in the minced garlic, and season with salt, pepper, and fresh dill.
- Add asparagus or broccoli to the same pan. Toss lightly with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. Lay lemon slices over the salmon.
- On the control panel, select DIY mode and choose a combination of convection and steam. This uses both hot air and moisture for the best texture.
- Set the temperature to 400°F and the time to 12 to 14 minutes. Press Enter to start.
- At 12 minutes, check the salmon. It should flake easily with a fork, and the vegetables should be tender. Add 1 to 2 more minutes if needed.
- When cooking is finished, remove the pan carefully. Slide out and empty the drip tray after using steam.
Tip
Using convection with light steam keeps the salmon tender and prevents the vegetables from drying out while still giving them a gentle roast.
