Classic Strawberry Compote
Ingredients
• 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
• 2-3 tbsp sugar (adjust to sweetness of fruit)
• 1 tsp lemon juice
Method
- Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fruit breaks down and juices thicken slightly.
- Cool before layering in the jar under your yogurt.
Mixed Berry Compote
Ingredients
• 1 cup raspberries
• 1 cup blackberries
• 2 tbsp honey or sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Put all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir and simmer 8–12 minutes until the berries break down and it becomes jammy.
- Cool, then add to your yogurt.
