
Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri
This frozen classic is fruity, bold, and undeniably refreshing. Perfect for warm evenings or weekend gatherings, it blends the sweetness of ripe strawberries with a citrusy kick and a generous splash of rum. For a lighter version, replace some of the rum with cold water. Garnish with extra fresh berries for an eye-catching finish.
Ingredients:
- 2 pints strawberries, washed and hulled
- ½ cup superfine sugar
- ½ cup fresh lemon or lime juice
- 1⅓ cups rum
Directions:
- Purée the strawberries in a food processor until smooth.
- Pour the purée into the bowl of your ice cream maker.
- Add the sugar, lemon or lime juice, and rum.
- Freeze in your Whynter ice cream maker for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the mixture reaches your desired consistency.
Serves: 6
