
Chocolate Sorbet
This rich, smooth, and deeply flavored chocolate sorbet is a must-try for any chocolate lover. It’s a refreshing yet indulgent treat that proves you don’t need cream to enjoy serious chocolate.
Ingredients:
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, broken into chunks
- 1 quart water
- 1½ cups sugar
Instructions:
- Chop Chocolate:
Use a knife or food processor to chop the chocolate into very small pieces. - Heat & Dissolve:
In a saucepan, heat the water and sugar together over medium heat. Once the sugar is fully dissolved, add the chopped chocolate. - Simmer:
Simmer gently for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring often, until the mixture is smooth and no longer grainy. Do not allow it to boil. - Cool:
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool thoroughly. - Freeze:
Pour the cooled mixture into the bowl of your Whynter ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
